Since 1994 I have arranged the annual ORIENTAL DANCE FESTIVAL Denmark – in co-operation with some wonderful girls. Without their invaluable help this would not be possible. The festival was created to extend the knowledge about oriental dance – and to create a forum where dancers could meet in a friendly atmospere. Hence this is a show where dancers at different levels show their skills.
Gradually the festival became known among Danish belly dancers, and the last few years around 250-300 performers from all corners of Denmark have participated and the audience has counted around 1200 people. The last few years foreign dancers – and foreign press – has shown their interest in the Festival, which is now the largest of this kind in Denmark.
